Dr. Melisa Öçbe is a faculty member who continues her academic and clinical work in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Her clinical interests include magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), radiological imaging of head and neck cancers, maxillary sinus pathologies, temporomandibular joint disorders, infectious oral diseases, oral manifestations of autoimmune diseases, and evaluation of potentially malignant oral disorders.

His main scientific interests are the evaluation of the dento-maxillofacial region using advanced imaging methods (MRI, CT, CBT, PET/CT), radiological analysis of head and neck cancers, oral potentially malignant disorders, and oral cancers. He also conducts research on the clinical and academic use of artificial intelligence and deep learning-based image analysis applications in dentistry and head and neck radiology. Dr. Melisa Öçbe has contributed to the scientific literature with her research, having over fifty scientific articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, presentations at scientific conferences, authorship of scientific book chapters, and awards from international scientific organizations.
