Prof. Dr. Yüksel Türköz is a faculty member who provides Education and Health services in the field of Prosthetic Dental Treatment at our Faculty of Dentistry and Oral Dental Health Center of KOSTU.
Prosthetic Dental Treatment is our department where apparatus, which is popularly called Prosthesis for short, is made and dentistry students are given education about Deconstruction of them.
Although chewing is considered to be the main task of the teeth, they also have tasks such as aesthetics, phonation (extraction of sounds).
The word prosthesis is a device that is made and applied uniquely by patients in order to maintain the functions and functions of tissues and organs that have been separated from the body because they have become lost or unable to function in medicine. Devices and /or treatments that can be removed and inserted, such as veneers, bridges, fixed and segmented teeth, or full dentures. these are the topics of the field of prosthetic dental treatment in dentistry.

Prosthetıc Dental Treatment
She started his academic career at the Prosthetics Department of the Faculty of Dentistry of Ankara University, where she graduated in 1976, and after completing his doctorate in 1980, she became an Associate Professor of Prosthetic Dental Treatment in 1988 and a Professor in 1995.
She retired in 2021 after 45 years of service at Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry. She has been appointed as a faculty member and has been working at our Faculty since November 2024.
